On this day in 1973 Wings kicked off their first official tour at the Bristol Hippodrome, playing 15 UK shows.  Carrying on the James Bond theme from the other day, here is “Live and Let Die”

May 10th – Tom Jones – “Delilah”

In 1749 the final volume of the novel Tom Jones was published.  We celebrate that event with “Delilah” from that great singer of modern times who shares the same name.

In 1977,  The #Eagles went to No.1 on the US singles chart with #HotelCalifornia , the group’s fourth US No.1 and  a No.8 hit in the UK.  It is a bit long – but worth listening to!  #singing #feelgood
