September 10th – First ever arrest for drunk driving – “Lilly the Pink”

In 1897, George Smith, a London taxi driver, became the first person to  be arrested for drink driving.  Here are #Scaffold with Lilly the Pink. #singing;#feelgood

Jennifer Eccles, had terrible freckles
And the boys all called her names

Now he joins in all the games
